About Cryogenix
Cryogenix started life as a sub-project and IRC channel (#cryogenix) within CyberArmy, founded by int16h / VengaPiR8. Following the second great CyberArmy crash in 2010, the community stagnated until 2020, when int16h and kasi began re-implementing Dinah (CyberArmy’s mod_perl 1.x backend) in Mojolicious under the codename Naphtali. Naphtali powers Cryogenix front- and back-end, and remains backward-compatible with CyberArmy, Zebulun, and Sered.
Today Cryogenix represents the same values and shared history of CyberArmy, but is in active development and serves as a platform for research across multiple fields.
The Cryogenix Forum is inspired by the CyberArmy forum, itself based on the “Mr Fong Device” (an adaptation of WWWboard).
